Muslims in Leicester

The Muslims in Leicester report outlines and examines the experiences of Muslims the areas of education, employment, health, housing and social protection, citizenship and political participation, policing and security, media, belonging, identity and interactions. It offers a series of recommendations for local and national authorities and organizations. Leicester gives strong examples of how ethnic and cultural diversity is managed well and, in fact, turned into an asset for cities.

The research was conducted by a team that I led and funded by the Open Society Foundation.
